Frigidaire Celebrates 100 Years of Innovation

The year 2018 marks 100 years of meaningful innovation for Frigidaire including inventions of the first home refrigerator, the first home freezer, and the first room air conditioner. The brand launched their newest innovation at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando. The newest line up builds on the brand's legacy of offering appliances that make preparation, cooking, and clean up quicker and easier.

Highlights of Frigidaire's new products and technologies include:

• Induction Ranges and Cooktops- This new line features the industry's first ever freestanding induction range for under 1,000 USD. The induction ranges offer faster meal prep, consistent and delicious results, simple clean-up, and enhanced safety features.

• Frigidaire Gallery Integrated Dishwasher- The new dishwasher features two powerful OrbitClean spray arms for both the top and bottom racks to ensure dishes are clean the first time. The top notch drying system uses a fan and heating element to ensure there's no need to towel dry at the end of the cycle.

For 100 years, Frigidaire has been committed to helping families spend more time doing what they love. Vice President of Marketing for North America, Amie Guys, says that the new products are examples of Frigidaire's commitment to consumers. "Since 1918, Frigidaire has made it a priority to listen to our consumers and offer products that meet their needs. These new products are perfect examples of this commitment, like faster cooking through induction and dishwashers that get dishes clean and dry the first time." More information regarding celebrations of Frigidaire's 100th is forthcoming.
