Color, color, color!

Have you shopped for kitchen accessories lately? Or maybe for a new cutlery set or dishware? If you have been shopping recently, then you've probably noticed the fact that your most trusted and beloved kitchen companions have gotten a makeover. Color is EVERYWHERE! Haven't been shopping lately? Allow us to catch you up! In 2012, color splashed on to the scene and consumers gobbled it up! Aluminum pots and pans were coated in colors like eggplant, turquoise, and mustard yellow. Patterns such as stripes, polka dots, and triangles were also printed on product. Consumers loved the new look and the price was an additional plus. Introduced on the market at a lower cost, these products were a cost effective alternative to cast iron. Additionally, aluminum is lighter than other materials, making it easier to handle and it's a great conductor of heat and and is easy to clean. Consumers were able to choose a customized product that is affordable and easy to use.
Pleased with the success of the aluminum pots and pans, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers have teamed up to once again bring consumers their favorite products, with a twist. The color craze of 2012 continues, but this time it's with small domestic appliances and accessories. Stand mixers can be found in magenta, lime green, canary yellow, or sky blue. Blenders and food processors have pops of color, complete with bright plastic attachment pieces. Accessories such as potholders, spatulas, whisks, and mixing bowls are accented with color. Consumer enthusiasm is positive and distribution channels are plenty. Colorful accessories and SDA's can be found in retail stores and online. Innovative trade show exhibitors are presenting industry specific products with colorful twists like grills with neon lights and small appliances with colored trim.
